This year’s World Championship was special in so many ways. It was the biggest the most competitive ever. It was also the most emotional as we had three of our most decorated athletes announce their retirement from the sport Karate. Robbie Lavoie is arguably the best lightweight ever, Morgan Plowden is arguably the best female fighter ever, and Chris Gorham has been winning world titles at the WKC since he was a kid. We thank you for everything you have done and I’m sure you will continue to do for sport karate.
